- We have several types of ceremonies including Spiritual, Civic, Traditional, or Religious themes.
- Renewal of Vows and Vows of Commitment are available.
- Reverend Dr. Norman Pritchard will travel to your location to perform a ceremony.

Listed below are basic functions expected of an Officiant. Reverend Norm provides these functions, in a pleasant, professional manner, with compassion, warmth, and as a genuine part of your experience. Reverend Norm participates as a joyful part of the whole celebration. He wishes to be remembered as making a significant contribution to your special day.
- A wedding Officiant is someone legally authorized to preside over/perform a legal wedding ceremony.
- Officiants include traditional, non-denominational ministers, pastors, judges, rabbis, priests, notaries, and other civil officiates.
- Most Officiants offer a variety of ceremonies, ranging from purely civil to religious and everything in between, including non-denominational, interfaith and multicultural. Note: Beyond their title, most ministers, rabbis and priests regularly officiate civil/non-religious ceremonies and most civil officiants also serve non-denominational and interfaith couples.
- Reverend Norm strongly recommends that the bride and groom communicate with him before the wedding, in order for everyone to know each other, and to obtain answers to your questions, anxieties, or anything else that can help make this union happy and lasting. He firmly believes that regardless of the question, there is a solution.
- The Officiant is required to verify the validity of the Marriage License, properly completing the Certificate of Marriage, record keeping, and submission of the Certificate Filing with the appropriate State Clerk of the County.
Put your faith in the spirits that lie behind you;
for they pass to you a great store of wisdom and freedom.
Likewise, put your faith in the spirit that lies ahead of you
for it is through you two that life seeks to prolong itself.
And finally, put your faith in the spirit that dwells between the two of you.
There alone the skies are ever open for your love; there alone lies the great road ahead.
You may not know what kind of ceremony you want or how to decide. Perhaps we can help you with this decision.
Generally, you should let us know what you do not want, and let us make some suggestions.
- You are encouraged to participate in the design of your ceremony. You can have any style you want, from the simplest civil
to any modification of other existing styles. In fact, you can write your very own ceremony, only restricted by legality and
good taste.
- A very popular text professionally written by Dr. Pritchard, called the Spiritual Ceremony, has received wide
acceptance. Dr. Pritchard has no objection to you making additions, modifications, and other participations you suggest.
The Spiritual Ceremony is strictly spiritual in nature. No religious references, no deity mention, and no affiliations
identified. The Spiritual Ceremony serves as dedication of the two participants by and to each other, only.
- Some ideas you may consider for making modifications include, but not limited to:
- Additional readings of favorite scripture, or poetry
- Readings by family or friends
- Special words exchanged between bride and groom
